Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state(s).
• Progressive nursing leadership experience managing nursing operations.
• Nursing operations across multiple departments, campuses, or facilities.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, nursing practice, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and workforce management.
• Ability to analyze operational and financial data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Formulates and oversees development and implementation of nursing care for patients by assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans.
• Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing and other patient care personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice.
• Oversees operation and management of all departments under supervision.
• Participates in director level decision making for the organization.
• Addresses daily nursing operations, staffing, throughput, quality initiatives, FTE management, and agency management.
