The role requires an RN license in the state of practice, advanced nursing education, and strong leadership capabilities. This position is full-time with day shift responsibilities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the practicing state is required.
• A nursing degree (BSN/MSN) is required; postgraduate degree in nursing or health care administration is preferred or a written plan with a timeline to obtain it.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate must be maintained.
• Minimum of five years of progressive management experience in a facility environment as a Nursing Director.
• Minimum of two years leadership or administrative experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Proven leadership ability and facility operational expertise.
• Ability to mentor and develop staff and drive professional growth.
• Proven track record in complying with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership as the senior executive responsible for all nursing and patient care functions within the hospital.
• Lead executive-level oversight to ensure effective nursing care, treatment, and services.
• Plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate nursing practice at the facility level.
• Assume 24/7 responsibility for quality, safety, staffing, and resource management.
• Represent nursing on the governing board and in medical staff leadership meetings.
