Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Operations Manager to provide leadership and operational oversight for an inpatient unit at FMCOH Wiregrass Ranch Hospital in Wesley Chapel, FL. You will lead patient care delivery, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive improvements in patient flow and outcomes.

Required: BSN; Florida RN license; BLS; leadership experience in acute care. Preferred: MSN/DNP or BSN with graduate business/health degree.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a BSN is required.
Master's degree (MSN or DNP) or BSN with graduate degree in business or health-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Evaluates the environment and makes recommendations to ensure quality service, patient flow, safety and regulatory compliance.
Plans, leads, directs, and evaluates patient care delivery to achieve sustained outcomes.
Fosters a safe, high-reliability environment for patients and staff.
Participates in policy development and change management to support nursing operations.
Analyzes and maintains an effective nursing delivery model aligned with patient/family needs.
Recruits, develops, mentors, retains talent; manages budgeting and costs.
Ensures development and evaluation of evidence-based nursing practice.
Holds team accountable to Orlando Health’s mission, values and standards.
