Job summary

CSU Stanislaus is seeking a temporary hourly-intermittent work study student assistant in the School of Nursing. The role provides clerical and administrative support, helping with filing, scanning, records management, and general office operations while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Starting September 1, 2026 and ending by May 21, 2027, with possible reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

Qualifications

• Undergrad students must be registered in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and administrative support to the School of Nursing office, including filing, scanning, organizing documents, maintaining records, and assisting with general office operations.
• Support faculty and staff with routine administrative tasks while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.
• Organize, sort, and maintain paper and electronic files to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
• Scan, upload, and index documents into electronic filing systems.
• File documents according to established procedures and maintain confidentiality of student and departmental records.
• Assist with copying, printing, collating, and preparing materials for meetings, events, and faculty.
• Perform data entry and update departmental records with accuracy.
• Maintain organized office workspaces, filing cabinets, and supply areas.
• Monitor office supply inventory and notify staff when supplies need replenishment.
• Assist with special projects and other clerical or administrative tasks as assigned.
• Follow university policies regarding confidentiality, professionalism, and workplace safety.

Undergraduate student status (registered in six Fall/Spring units)
