RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Clinical Care Technician for the Nursing Mother/Baby unit at RWJUH Somerset. This part-time, day-shift role supports RNs with vital signs, patient care, and daily activities, helping ensure compassionate, safe patient experiences.

You will perform phlebotomy, monitor vitals, document in the EHR, and participate in infection control while collaborating with nurses and therapists.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• CNA certificate or nursing program clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and assist with daily nursing care.
• Monitor patient status and document in the EHR.
• Support with activities of daily living and bedside care.
• Apply infection control protocols and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with RNs, doctors and therapists to coordinate care.
