Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care is seeking a Nursing Leadership professional to oversee nursing and related patient care activities within assigned areas. You will collaborate with the nursing team to meet organizational strategies and support patient, physician, and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities include standardization of systems, performance improvement initiatives, financial oversight for nursing programs, and effective communication plans to achieve nursing goals.

Qualifications

• 3 years in acute care setting with demonstrated leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• RN licensure (state).
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Knowledge of healthcare issues, trends, legal compliance and managed care; emphasis on nursing operations.
• Specialty Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Contributes to development and manages the implementation and improvement of care delivery models and services to enhance patient, family, employee, and provider satisfaction.
• Ensures compliance with nurse practice acts and regulatory standards in the area of responsibility.
• Fosters transparency, interdisciplinary collaboration, and accountability across teams.
• Enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and nursing services administration.
• Optimizes resource allocation to support current and potential objectives for the area of responsibility.
• Manages a multidisciplinary workforce delivering clinically competent, efficient and compassionate care.
