Job summary

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive patient outcomes, monitor regulatory readiness, and promote patient and staff satisfaction within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing with a minimum of 3 years nursing-related experience or associate’s degree with 5 years of nursing-related experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice nursing in Michigan
• Master’s degree in a related program preferred
• A minimum of 2 years’ leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Maintains operational responsibility for nursing and health care services on the unit
• Promotes positive customer relations with physicians, patients, families, visitors and employees
• Monitors level of patient, staff and physician satisfaction
• Ensures staff participation in orientation, mandatory and continuing education programs
• Plans unit conferences and staff development activities
• Maintains regulatory readiness and quality of care standards
• Supervises delegation and supervision of patient care
• Manages budgets and capital needs for patient care services
