WellPower in Denver seeks a Nursing Manager of Crisis Services to provide clinical leadership for 24/7 crisis programs. You will oversee crisis nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate care across partners to deliver trauma‑informed patient‑centered services.
The role requires Colorado RN licensure, 5+ years of patient care and 2+ years in nursing leadership; inpatient or crisis experience preferred.

The Nursing Manager of Crisis Services reports to the Director of Nursing and provides operational, nursing, and administrative leadership for 24/7 programs serving individuals experiencing behavioral health crises or transitioning from crisis stabilization services. This role ensures uninterrupted program operations, oversees the crisis nursing team, provides advanced crisis nursing assessment and intervention, and maintains compliance with state regulations and contractual requirements.
The Manager collaborates with internal departments, including other crisis managers, public safety partners, and community agencies to support high-quality, trauma-informed, person-centered care in fast-paced, high-acuity environments that require strong clinical judgment and real-time decision-making.
The posted range represents the full hiring range. Offers will not exceed this range, the majority of candidates are placed near the midpoint based on experience and qualifications.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado. The license must be in good standing.
Shift/Hours: This is a Monday-Friday opportunity observing standard business hours. With the expectation to help cover various shifts when needed.
Typical Physical Demands: Requires sitting, standing, bending and reaching. May require occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, the telephone and other office and/or clinical equipment.
Typical Mental Demands: Ability to give, receive, and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials and articulate goals and action plans. Must understand people from all walks of life and be able to communicate effectively with them.
