Maricopa County's Correctional Health Services is seeking a Nursing Manager to provide clinical direction and oversight for health assessments and interventions within the jail system. The role collaborates with healthcare professionals to deliver world-class patient care during the 3PM–11PM shift.

As the Nursing Manager, you will work hand in hand with healthcare professionals and staff to provide appropriate, world-class patient care to patients going through the judicial system. You will be responsible for providing clinical direction, oversight, and guidance for health assessments, clinical interventions, and more. Correctional Health Services is an industry-leading healthcare organization for the incarcerated population, providing 24/7 medical, dental, mental health, psychiatric care, and substance abuse treatment (i.e., Medication Assisted Treatment and Opioid Treatment Program). Ability to work inside a jail and stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time throughout the shift while accurately handling a high volume of work, communicating with a culturally diverse patient population, and adapting to frequent changes, interruptions, and unscheduled tasks Travel or floating to various clinical locations is required within a 5-mile radius Position also includes day or night shift work, which may include weekends and holidays Must be able to respond to emergencies Must maintain CPR and First Aid certification and get on the floor to perform CPR/chest compressions, push medical equipment, climb stairs, and lift patients on a gurney Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check and maintain MCSO jail access An active and valid BLS, CPR, and First Aid Certifications that meet the AHA curriculum standards, with in-person skills test and hands-on demonstration components is required by the start date
Must pass a pre-employment background and/or fingerprint investigation as required by statute or policy, including drug and alcohol testing requirements for positions designated as safety-sensitive
