Job summary

The Addison of Gulf Breeze, a Sonida Senior Living community, seeks a dedicated LPN/LVN to join our care team in Gulf Breeze, Florida. You will provide compassionate nursing care and supervise nursing assistants to ensure high-quality resident support.

You will administer medications, monitor residents, and maintain accurate records in a compliant, respectful environment. Active LPN/LVN licensure and 1 year of experience are required; benefits and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN.
• Minimum 1 year of experience required.
• Provide safe, quality nursing care per facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily nursing assistant activities in accordance with regulations.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Maintain accurate written and oral shift reports and recommendations.
• Ensure adequate medication and supply inventory and report shortages.

LPN/LVN Responsibilities include:

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents. Report needs to the nursing supervisor
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions
• Pulls and prepares patient charts; performs other general office duties as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience required
• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure
