Job summary

The Addison of Narcoossee, a Sonida Senior Living community in Saint Cloud, FL, is hiring an LPN/LVN. You will support residents in an Assisted Living and Memory Care setting, including medication administration and supervising nursing assistants.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants per facility guidelines.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Submit reports and recommendations about shift activities.
• Ensure medications, supplies and equipment are on hand.
• Place calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions.
• Prepare patient charts and perform general office duties.

LPN/LVN Responsibilities include:

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents. Report needs to the nursing supervisor
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions
• Pulls and prepares patient charts; performs other general office duties as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience required
• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure
