Job summary

The Addison of St. Johns in Saint Augustine, FL is seeking a qualified LPN/LVN to join our assisted living and memory care team.

This role directs daily nursing activities, administers medications, documents care, and communicates with physicians to ensure safe, compassionate resident support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a nursing role.
• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN and maintain current licensure.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules and guidelines.
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician.
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required.
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet nursing needs.
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions.
• Pulls and prepares patient charts; performs other general office duties as required.

• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents. Report needs to the nursing supervisor
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions
