Job summary

Aspen Grove Senior Living is seeking a licensed LPN/LVN to join our caring team in Lambertville, MI. You will manage nursing assistants, administer medications, and document resident care in accordance with regulations and policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year nursing experience.
• Current LPN/LVN licensure in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants.
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician.
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations regarding shift activities.
• Ensure adequate supply of medications and equipment.
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions.
• Maintain patient charts and complete general office duties as required.

LPN/LVN Responsibilities include:

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents. Report needs to the nursing supervisor
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions
• Pulls and prepares patient charts; performs other general office duties as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience required
• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure
