The Ashton at Anderson is seeking a licensed LPN to join our Cincinnati senior living community. You will direct the day-to-day nursing assistant activities, administer medications, and contribute to safe resident care with a focus on memory care and assisted living.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing assistant functions per rules and guidelines.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Prepare and report on shift activities as required.
• Ensure adequate medication and supply stock; notify supervisor.
• Place calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions and manage charts.

LPN Responsibilities include:

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents. Report needs to the nursing supervisor
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptionsPulls and prepares patient charts; performs other general office duties as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience required
• Must be licensed as an LPN, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure
