Qualifications

• Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Professional Nurse in New York State.
• Master's Degree in Nursing Administration or equivalent, with at least four years of high-level nursing administration experience (three in hospital).
• Equivalent acceptable with active NYS RN license.

Responsibilities

• Organizes, directs, coordinates, and evaluates nursing services and education programs.
• Develops staffing plans to meet patient care standards.
• Maintains policy manuals and nursing records and reports.
• Directs budgets for the Nursing Department.
• Oversees orientation, training, and continuing education for nursing staff.
• Engages with physicians and administrators in a matrixed hospital environment.
