Job summary

Maplewood Senior Living in Darien, CT, seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (RN required) for full-time on-site work. The role leads nursing services, coordinates care, and ensures regulatory compliance in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license in the state.
• Experience in Assisted Living, Home Health, Skilled Nursing, or retirement center.
• Experience and passion in working with seniors.
• Experience in supervisory role and ability to lead.
• Ability to perform tasks that are physically demanding (60 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Ensure clinical services meet state regulations and standards.
• Coordinate nursing and personal care services for residents.
• Provide nursing services, wellness counseling, and health promotion.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Oversee resident medication regimens with physicians and providers.
• Conduct resident assessments and participate in care planning.
