Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead resident care quality, staff support, and regulatory compliance in a dynamic long‑term care setting in Texas.

As a licensed nurse with strong leadership, you will oversee staffing, care planning, MDS collaboration, infection control, and documentation while fostering a restorative care approach and ensuring excellent resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license in good standing with State Board.
• Leadership/management experience in geriatric or long-term care.
• Ability to develop care plans and coordinate with physicians.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Staffing Needs: Step in to assist floor staffing when needed.
• Oversee Resident Care: Contribute to MDS, care planning, performance improvement, and infection control programs.
• Manage Nursing Staff: Hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget needs.
• Ensure Accurate Documentation: Review and maintain up-to-date resident records.
• Develop Care Plans: Collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and consultants to design individualized care plans.
• Support Staff Resources: Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources.
• Uphold Infection Control: Conduct assessments and implement infection control measures.
