Arvum Senior Living in Des Moines, IA, is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to provide leadership for resident health and well-being in coordination with the Director of Health & Wellness.

This role includes creating and posting the personal care staff schedule, replacing staff as needed, and ensuring compliance with all regulations to maintain high standards of care. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered and the team collaborates to maintain excellent resident care.

Formación

• Current state license as a Licensed Professional Nurse.
• Experience in assisted living, home health or care industries.
• Two years experience as a Licensed Nurse preferred.
• One year nursing management experience preferred.
• Competence in assessment, injections/medication administration, follow-up and triage.

Responsabilidades

• Works with DHW and assists as assigned with those duties.
• Creates and posts a timely schedule for all personal care staff.
• Fill call-offs while ensuring proper staffing levels.
• Step in to fill a staff vacancy if unable to fill through other staff members.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations for clinical care.
• Collaborate with DHW to monitor health safety for residents and staff.
• Review service plans and coordinate changes in levels of care and services.
• Communicate changes in care to residents or families as needed.
• Observe and assist with medications and treatments per regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and medication records.
