Job summary

Quinault Community Health in Washington is seeking an experienced Nursing Supervisor to lead a compassionate nursing team in a primary care setting. You will supervise, mentor, coordinate care, and ensure safe, patient-centered services.

The role requires RN licensure, a current BLS for Healthcare Providers, and at least 3 years in a primary care clinic. Strong leadership, communication, and cross-cultural skills are essential to serve our community.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington state.
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience in a primary care clinic or office setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and PHI requirements.
• Knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and healthcare-related computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care.
• Plan, prioritize, and assign nursing and clinical support responsibilities to promote efficient patient care.
• Coordinate medical professionals and support staff to ensure comprehensive and timely care.
• Collaborate with providers and the multidisciplinary team to support patient care management, education, and training.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and practices that promote quality, safety, accountability, and a positive work environment.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, evaluations, and other personnel processes for nursing staff.
• Triage patient telephone calls and assist with appropriate coordination of care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Engage in quality improvement, organizational meetings, and committees to strengthen patient care.
• Foster a culture of dignity, respect, compassion, and community focus.
