Job summary

The Nursing Supervisor will work with providers and the care team to optimize clinical workflows, improve quality and patient outcomes, and foster a collaborative environment that respects cultural context and patient

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active RN license in good standing with WA DOH.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
• Knowledge of primary care practices, patient assessment, prevention and health education.
• Familiarity with EHRs and healthcare software.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Plan and assign nursing and clinical support duties to ensure efficient patient care.
• Coordinate with providers and care teams for comprehensive, timely care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support education and training.
• Develop nursing policies that promote quality, safety, and a positive work environment.
• Support staff development through training, mentoring, and performance feedback.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and evaluations for nursing staff.
• Perform clinical duties within RN scope and help meet clinical standards.
• Triage patient calls and coordinate appropriate care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Participate in quality improvement and organizational initiatives.
