Job summary

Grand Canyon Education seeks a full-time Clinical Lab Instructor to oversee students in the skills and simulation labs and implement academic programs. The role includes teaching responsibilities in clinical or lab courses and supporting teaching, research, and service missions, onsite in Atlanta, GA.

You will collaborate with Mercer University in the Accelerated BSN program, guide students in professionalism and practice, and maintain nursing knowledge while using AV equipment and learning

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing is required.
• GA RN licensure is required.
• Two years of teaching experience (preferred).
• Experience with simulation environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective student learning in the clinical/lab setting and via the online learning environment.
• Provide adequate guidance for students in the clinical/lab setting related to professionalism, practice, and research.
• Collaborate with the Healthcare Partner and its staff and support clinical adjunct faculty as needed.
• Maintain and Teach Nursing Knowledge.
• Maintain current knowledge of the extended campuses Nursing curriculum, policies, and requirements.
• Maintain clinical competence and knowledge in area of expertise.

Education

Master's degree in nursing

GA RN licensure

Two years of teaching experience (preferred)
