Job summary

Orbis Education partners with Mercer University to offer an Accelerated BSN program in the Greater Atlanta area. The Clinical Lab Instructor will oversee nursing skills labs and online theory, ensuring effective student learning and alignment with program missions.

Responsibilities include supervising clinical and lab activities, guiding students on professionalism and research, collaborating with the Healthcare Partner, and maintaining current nursing knowledge and curriculum standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of successful nursing practice are required.
• Two years of teaching experience (preferred).
• Experience with simulation environment is a plus.
• Comfort with AV equipment and learning management platforms.
• GA RN licensure and a Master’s degree in nursing are required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective student learning in clinical/lab and online environments.
• Provide guidance on professionalism, practice, and research in clinical settings.
• Collaborate with the Healthcare Partner and staff; support adjunct faculty as needed.
• Maintain current knowledge of the nursing curriculum, policies, and requirements.
• Maintain clinical competence in area of expertise.
• Teach in simulation labs with high- and low-fidelity mannequins when applicable.
