Job summary

Worcester State University is seeking a Staff Assistant, Nursing Laboratory Coordinator to enhance Nursing Laboratories and Simulation Center activities. The role involves coordinating simulation technology, updating labs, and supporting student learning across programs.

The position reports to the Associate Dean for Nursing, supervises lab assistants, develops modules, and manages inventory and scheduling to support undergraduate and graduate education.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing with strong medical-surgical experience.
• Knowledge of educational technology used in nursing education.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, establishes, and evaluates goals for Nursing Laboratories and Simulation Center.
• Coordinates master schedule of activities in all labs with faculty.
• Teaches in Nursing Laboratories and Simulation Center.
• Develops and sets up lab modules for undergraduate and graduate programs.
• Maintains records of student laboratory participation and activities.
• Maintains an organized environment in Nursing Laboratories and Simulation Center.
