Job summary

Utica University seeks a Lab Coordinator to ensure daily setup and readiness of lab spaces, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm. The role reports to the Program Director and keeps faculty informed about equipment needs, replacements, and repairs.

The position requires a High School Diploma and strong computer/organizational skills, plus experience with simulation. On-site work and collaboration with the Academic Operations team are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Strong computer and technology skills needed.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and experience with simulation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lab and simulation environments to be safe, functional, and well-equipped; address campus facility or safety concerns with Academic Operations.
• Maintain inventory of lab supplies and equipment; manage maintenance plans for simulation hardware and software.
• Perform duties related to lab coordination and coordinate with program directors and Academic Operations for campus resources.
