Job summary

Truckee Meadows Community College in Reno, NV seeks a CNA/NURS 128 Instructional Assistant who is a certified CNA to support Nursing Assistant labs and skill testing. You will set up for skills teaching, maintain lab supplies, and help instructors create an organized, efficient learning environment that enhances student performance.

Proposed hours are 8–10 per week for 10 weeks with flexible availability; compensation is $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up labs, organize supplies and restock as needed.
• Answer student questions and keep students on task.
• Help transport mannequins and direct equipment access.
• Copy and prepare skills testing packets.
• Set up for skills testing and return supplies after testing.
• Set up NURS 129 lab and assist students with demonstrated skills.
• Inventory supplies, notify faculty when stock is low.
• Maintain lab linen by laundering, folding and restocking.
