Job summary

Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ seeks adjuncts for the Nursing Lab to teach and supervise undergraduate nursing students in an in-person setting on campus. Responsibilities include simulations, tutoring, and feedback on clinical performance.

Minimum qualifications include a BSN or higher with a NJ nursing license; experience teaching and coordinating lab activities is preferred. The position is part-time and on-site with potential weekend/evening hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing is required.
• Current New Jersey State License in Nursing.
• Ability to teach and supervise undergraduate nursing students.
• Flexibility with schedule including weekends/evenings.
• Experience with technology and/or computer software.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and supervision to undergraduate nursing students.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback per course outcomes.
• Collaborate with Lab Director to meet learning objectives.
• Assist with simulations, tutoring, remediation, and care plan assistance.
• Adhere to policies and work with faculty and staff.
