Astrya Global Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery registered nurse for a temporary assignment in Opelousas, Louisiana. The 8-week contract includes a night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and requires 36 hours per week.

Applicants must hold an active RN license and current NRP, ACLS, and BLS certifications, with the ability to start quickly and extend the contract if needed. Competitive hourly pay reflects experience.

Responsibilities for a L&D:

• Provide registered nursing care in a Labor and Delivery setting


• Work night shift hours from 7PM to 7AM


• Fulfill a contract duration of 8 weeks


• Maintain a schedule of 36 hours per week


• Maintain current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification


• Maintain current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification


• Maintain current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification


• Be available for a quick/immediate start date
