Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Apply Patient Centered Care concepts as the foundation for nursing care.
• Oversee and guide employees under your supervision.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course within 6 months of hire. BSN preferred.
• One‑year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (adult patients).
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (pediatric patients), or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (neonatal patients) as required by department.
• Other certifications as may be required by facility, specialty, or department.
• Must successfully pass any pre‑employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
