Job summary

Saint Luke's Hospital is seeking a Nursing Student to join the Surgical Intermediate Cardiac Care unit as a Nurse Intern. The role supports the Registered Nurse by performing clinical procedures and direct patient care under supervision.

Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited RN program, have completed Fundamentals of Nursing, and anticipate graduation in 2026/2027 or 2027/2028; shifts are PRN with a minimum of one shift every six weeks.

Qualifications

Position

Nurse Intern - Surgical Intermediate Cardiac Care

Schedule

PRN; Minimum 1 shift per 6 week schedule

The Nursing Intern

is for students currently enrolled in an accredited RN program who have completed a Fundamentals of Nursing course and have a graduation date in 2026/2027. The Nursing Intern performs clinical procedures and provides patient care for assigned patients under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Performs direct and indirect patient care activities. Provides support to other health care team members. The Nursing Intern may perform technical tasks per unit competency validation. However, Nursing Interns are restricted from performing any licensed tasks.

The Nurse Intern position is for students currently enrolled in an accredited RN program who have completed the Fundamentals of Nursing . We are currently looking for nursing students whose expected graduation date is in 2027/2028
