Job summary

Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City is seeking a Nursing Student to join the Surgical Intermediate Cardiac Care unit as a Nurse Intern. This PRN position requires a student currently enrolled in an accredited RN program with a 2026/2027 graduation date.

The Nursing Intern will perform clinical procedures and patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, support the health care team, and adhere to unit competencies, with licensing restrictions applying accordingly.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited RN program.
• Completed Fundamentals of Nursing course.
• Graduation date 2026/2027.
• PRN schedule with minimum 1 shift per 6 week cycle.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical procedures and provides patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Provides support to other health care team members.
• May perform technical tasks per unit competency validation.
• Nursing Interns are restricted from performing any licensed tasks.

Saint Luke's Hospital is looking for a Nursing Student to join the Surgical Intermediate Cardiac Care unit! Position: Nurse Intern - Surgical Intermediate Cardiac Care Schedule: PRN; Minimum 1 shift per 6 week schedule

The Nursing Intern is for students currently enrolled in an accredited RN program who have completed a Fundamentals of Nursing course and have a graduation date in 2026/2027. The Nursing Intern performs clinical procedures and provides patient care for assigned patients under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Performs direct and indirect patient care activities. Provides support to other health care team members. The Nursing Intern may perform technical tasks per unit competency validation. However, Nursing Interns are restricted from performing any licensed tasks. The Nurse Intern position is for students currently enrolled in an accredited RN program who have completed the Fundamentals of Nursing . We are currently looking for nursing students whose expected graduation date is in 2027/2028

Job Requirements

Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Nursing Student - Various
