Job summary

Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) is seeking a full-time Nursing faculty member to teach in the Practical and Associate Degree Nursing programs. The ideal candidate holds an MSN, with RN licensure in Wisconsin and at least two years of RN experience, including recent teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
• Two years RN experience; teaching experience preferred within last five years.
• Current and unencumbered RN license in Wisconsin required.
• Willingness to teach evenings or weekends; fall start.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and deliver instruction and teaching-related activities.
• Manage the classroom and laboratory environments.
• Develop curriculum and monitor/revise to maintain course effectiveness.
• Collaborate with advisory committee and participate in program evaluation.
• Recruit and retain students and market MATC.
• Maintain professional development and stay current in field.
