Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) is seeking a full-time Nursing faculty member to teach in the Practical and Associate Degree Nursing programs. The role includes classroom and clinical instruction across acute, subacute, and long-term care settings, with duties in curriculum development, program evaluation, and student advising.
The ideal candidate holds an MSN, with RN licensure in Wisconsin and at least two years of RN experience, including recent teaching experience.

Under the supervision of the Associate Dean of Nursing, will teach classroom and clinical courses in the Practical and Associate Degree Nursing program. Clinical instruction is provided in acute, subacute and long-term care settings. Related duties include participating in division and department activities and other duties as assigned. May be required to teach on evenings or weekends. Required to keep current with the latest trends and technologies in discipline.
Must have a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN).
Must have two (2) years (4,000 hours) of full-time work experience as a Registered Nurse. In addition, one of the following must be met:

Must hold a current and unencumbered (good standing) license as a Registered Nurse by the State of Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS).
This position supports the Healthcare Pathway and is available to start in fall semester.
This position is limited term and is subject to end on May 21, 2027. Full-time faculty are assigned a minimum workload of 32 hours per week. Course load and schedule will depend on course availability. Work schedule could include in person, online, hybrid, daytime, evening, and weekend teaching assignments. All work must be conducted in the state of Wisconsin.
Full-time Limited Term Employment faculty salary position is determined based on the individual’s education and years of relevant experience and is assigned to the appropriate salary class and step in accordance with the applicable salary schedule.
Compensation is prorated based on start date.
As part of the interview process, selected candidates are required to prepare and present an interactive theory lesson and simulated teaching demonstration lasting 10 minutes of the overall interview time, which may be conducted in-person or virtually.
