Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) seeks a full-time, limited-term Nursing faculty member to teach classroom and clinical Nursing courses in the Practical and Associate Degree Nursing program. Teaching may occur in evenings or weekends and requires current RN license in Wisconsin and an MSN.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Nursing (MSN) is required.
• Two years (4,000 hours) RN work experience with licensure in Wisconsin DSPS.
• Two years of teaching RN, practical nursing, or nursing assistant at post-secondary level in last five years (optional alternative).

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and deliver instruction and teaching-related activities.
• Manage the classroom/lab.
• Develop curriculum and monitor course effectiveness; assist in program evaluation.
• Assess student performance and advise students on academic issues.
• Attend departmental and institutional meetings.
• Promote the program and recruit/retain students.
