Job summary

Pasco-Hernando State College Nursing program is seeking creative and highly motivated nursing faculty to join their team. This is a nine-month contracted position with benefits, with a salary range of $48,315.02 to $61,258.95 depending on education and experience.

The nine-month academic year runs 2026-2027, August to May. Faculty teach day/evening/weekend/online courses, maintain course objectives, assist in curriculum planning, and ensure compliance with college policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution.
• Current, unrestricted FL RN license.
• 2 years recent clinical experience.
• Satisfactory level II criminal history background check.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers CPR.
• Negative drug and alcohol screens required when selected.

Responsibilities

• Teaches courses as assigned by the Provost, Dean or Associate Dean.
• Courses may be taught day, evening, weekends, and/or online.
• Provide syllabi and oversee examinations as required by campus leadership.
• Maintain attendance records and student progress.
• Assist in curriculum planning, textbook selection and dual enrollment activities.
• Schedule, post and maintain work hours according to rules.
• Provide guidance to students and refer to support services as needed.
• Participate in meetings and college committees as assigned.
