Job summary

Minneapolis College is seeking applications for potential temporary part-time and/or adjunct Dental Assistant Faculty within the School of Nursing, Health Sciences and Wellness. The role may teach theory, lab, and clinic, across traditional and online formats, with flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

The position requires a Bachelor degree and completion of an accredited dental assisting program, plus three years of related experience, DANB certification, and Minnesota license.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum qualifications for the Minnesota State credential field for Dental Assistant.
• Household requirement: Bachelor degree and completion of accredited dental assisting program.
• Three full-time years (or equivalent) of verifi ed dental assistant work experience.
• Current DANB certification and Minnesota Dental Board license.

Responsibilities

• Teach all aspects of Dental assisting: theory, lab and clinic.
• Deliver instruction inclusively and equity-mindedly.
• Develop and revise instructional and assessment materials.
• Assess program and course student learning outcomes.
• Adapt teaching to traditional and online formats and schedule.
