Montana State University Mark and Robyn Jones College of Nursing seeks non-tenure track faculty to provide instruction at Bozeman, Billings, Great Falls, Kalispell, or Missoula campuses. The role includes undergraduate/graduate teaching using active learning, simulation, online, and clinical instruction.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license to practice Nursing in Montana.
• BSN or Master’s degree in Nursing.
• To teach in DNP program, APRN license to practice in Montana and current certification as an APRN.
• Successful work experience in nursing.
• Demonstrated clinical competence in teaching.
• Demonstrated ability working in a collegial team environment.
• Demonstrated experience using information technology to prepare and present instructional materials.
• Experience engaging diverse students and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate nursing courses using multiple teaching strategies.
• Engage in service or outreach in addition to teaching.
• Maintain a continuous program of professional development and attend professional meetings.
• Travel among five MSU campuses for meetings and clinical activities.
• Meet health standards and maintain patient confidentiality in clinical settings.
• Comply with State Board of Nursing rules and university policies.
• Support diversity and inclusive excellence in nursing education.
