Job summary

Rasmussen University in Fargo, ND seeks a Master’s- or Doctorate-prepared nurse to teach in the MSN program and help students achieve their educational goals. The Nursing Instructor will deliver courses in various modalities, provide feedback on student performance, support NCLEX readiness, and participate in campus meetings and committees.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• Active North Dakota and Minnesota RN license required.
• CPR certification required.
• 1 year clinical RN experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Teaching or training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in courses aligned with qualifications and areas of expertise.
• Ensure all instructional activities and required contact hours are completed per policy and accreditation standards.
• Maintain weekly office hours to support student learning and address questions.
• Provide consistent instructional presence and support student learning outcomes.
• Support NCLEX preparation throughout the program.
• Full-time faculty are expected to teach a full workload; part-time up to 30 hours per week.

Master's Degree in Nursing

Active RN license (ND & MN)
