Universal Technical Institute, Inc. is seeking an RN - Nursing Instructor for the LVPN Program. This full-time role covers evenings and weekends, with a BSN required and MO licensure.

You will deliver high‑quality instruction in classrooms, labs, and online components, develop curriculum, assess student progress, and ensure adherence to industry standards. The position emphasizes hands-on teaching, student success planning, and collaboration with students and education personnel to meet program

Qualifications

• BSN in Nursing from an accredited program; MSN degree preferred.
• RNs must have 3+ years of clinical nursing experience.
• Active and unencumbered RN license to practice in Missouri.
• Direct and specialized knowledge in instruction required.
• Ability to present simulations, case studies, and hands-on training to reinforce learning.

Responsibilities

• Organize and deliver class objectives clearly and concisely.
• Foster a safe, controlled classroom and lab environment for students.
• Maintain and prepare training aids, tools, and equipment.
• Keep curriculum up to date with industry standards and practices.
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and practical assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to help students succeed academically and professionally.
• Identify at-risk students and develop individualized success plans to mitigate attrition.
• Build rapport with students, clinical partners, and colleagues.
• Provide periodic and ad-hoc reporting to stakeholders.
• Meet with students and education personnel to discuss instructional programs.
• Maintain regular interaction with students in online course components.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress.
• Deliver engaging lectures and lab sessions on topics, procedures and equipment.
