Job summary
Community College of Allegheny County invites applications for an Instructor - Nursing (Temp FT) at Boyce Campus. The role focuses on teaching and curriculum development for nursing with a 10-month teaching schedule and a salary range guided by rank under the collective bargaining agreement.
The position is fully in-person, with standard hours 8:30 am–4:30 pm, and may require evening/weekend work. Qualified candidates hold an RN license in PA, a Master's in nursing, and clinical nursing
Qualifications
- RN license; Master's in nursing required.
- Master's in nursing and clinical experience required.
- Teaching experience preferred; curriculum development a plus.
Responsibilities
- Teach nursing courses and develop curriculum.
- Create and deliver learning experiences aligned with outcomes.
- Employ engaging teaching strategies and technologies.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain Office Hours per CBA and participate in meetings.
- Contribute to program review and curriculum planning.
- Engage in professional development and educational technology use.
- Integrate relevant educational technology into instruction.
