Job summary

Adventist HealthCare seeks an experienced Associate Vice President of Nursing Innovation and Digital Practice to lead our Epic team and advance enterprise nursing informatics.

In this role, you will partner with CNO and IT leaders to design workflows, optimize clinical documentation, and ensure safe adoption of new technologies across inpatient and outpatient settings. The position requires strong leadership and a track record in EHR optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited college.
• Master's degree in nursing or health informatics, healthcare administration, information systems, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of nursing or healthcare experience with EHR implementation/optimization; Epic experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience with accountability for people, programs, budgets, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Current, active registered nurse license in the state of practice or multistate privilege.

Responsibilities

• Lead system nursing informatics initiatives from planning through optimization with defined scope, milestones, risks, and outcome measures.
• Provide executive nursing oversight for Epic and related clinical technologies across care settings; guide workflow design, decision support, and testing.
• Build and coordinate a system nursing informatics champion network; engage frontline nurses in design and validation.
• Lead change-management, education, and adoption activities for nursing technology initiatives; collaborate with educators and leaders.
• Use clinical data and adoption metrics to identify improvements and guide corrective actions.
• Serve as a liaison to CNOs, IT, quality, safety, vendors, and Epic representatives; communicate status and dependencies.
