The Hutchinson Regional Medical Center is seeking an RN - Clinical Information Specialist to lead the clinical side of implementing application systems. This full-time role ensures that systems meet nursing needs and acts as liaison between end users and Information Services during development and installation.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5 years in clinical setting.
• 2 years with clinical information systems.
• Management experience helpful (optional).
• Ability to read, write, type, and speak English.

Responsabilités

• Ensure clinical needs are evaluated and validated when implementation plans are developed.
• Be knowledgeable of the operation of the suite of clinical applications as new ones are installed and existing ones are upgraded.
• Assess implications on nursing operations and patient care delivery when resolving departmental issues.
• Participate in development and testing of application functions.
• Design and train on use of clinical applications.
• Assist in live conversion plans for new and upgraded systems.
• Assist Information Services in screen modifications.
• Provide departmental support during all phases of implementation.
• Coordinate and participate in QA of the application functions.
• Assist in the development of user policies and procedures.
