Qualifications

• Current license to practice Registered Professional Nursing in West Virginia.
• Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
• Specialty certification in nursing administration or specialty.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate bed assignments and staffing to ensure 24/7 patient flow.
• Manage staff and respond to emergencies, including power failures and disasters.
• Communicate bed status to ED, Med-Com, and MARS to facilitate transfers.
• Collaborate with department director and other units to resolve problems affecting patient care.
• Oversee staffing plans and assign Resource Pool and Per Diem staff.
• Engage in Performance Improvement activities.
