Midwest Health, Inc. seeks a Domestic Aide for our nursing home to provide essential domestic support to residents who do not require direct patient care.

The role requires prompt call-light response, dining room assistance, bed-making, and documenting observations. You will help orient new residents, maintain clean rooms, and ensure adherence to infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Basic computer skills required.
• If required, must operate a motor vehicle for business purposes per Company policy.
• Temporary position; CNA certification must be obtained within six months.

Responsabilités

• Answer call lights promptly and courteously and notify appropriate personnel.
• Pass trays in dining room and to residents in rooms.
• Pass drinking water and ice to residents.
• Strip bed linen and remake beds as directed.
• Report observations to supervisor and record nourishment intake as directed.
• Orient new residents to the facility.
• Keep rooms tidy and label personal toiletries as needed.
• Clean equipment and assist with basic caregiving tasks as directed.
• Follow state and federal regulations for infection control, bloodborne pathogens, and safety.
• Ensure compliance with resident rights by staff and personal conduct.
