Job summary

STGi seeks a Nursing Home Facility Manager in Fayetteville, NC to oversee maintenance operations in a healthcare facility. The role involves developing hazards vulnerability assessments, supervising maintenance staff, coordinating inspections, and ensuring safe environment for residents.

Requires at least 3 years in a supervisory maintenance/plant role, knowledge of mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems, ability to read blueprints, and familiarity with building codes. On-call 24/7.

Qualifications

• Must have three (3) years of supervisory experience in a maintenance/plant related position.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing facility-based and community-based hazards vulnerability assessments as part of emergency preparedness planning.
• Investigate accidents or injuries and prepare reports; review findings with Administrator and Risk Manager.
• Participate in the annual facility assessment to ensure resources meet resident needs.
• Ensure safe and proper functioning of environment and equipment needed to care for residents.
• Evaluate and document facility maintenance and equipment needs.
• Provide facility access to state/federal inspectors and contractors as directed.
• Provide safety training to team members to prevent unsafe conditions or violations of procedures.
