Job summary

MissionCare seeks a Maintenance Manager to direct physical plant maintenance and grounds upkeep at a nursing home. You will supervise maintenance staff, maintain preventive maintenance logs, and coordinate with leadership on budget and projects.

The role requires four years in maintenance, HVAC, electrical and mechanical knowledge, and strong English communication. Office tools proficiency and adherence to building codes are essential.

Qualifications

• Four years’ experience in maintenance required.
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, construction, plant maintenance and HVAC required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel required.
• Knowledge of state and federal building codes required.
• Supervisory experience in the maintenance field required.
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing) required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and conduct physical plant maintenance and grounds upkeep at a nursing home.
• Maintain preventive maintenance logs and ensure scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Provide training and development to maintenance staff in basic plumbing and electrical per regulations.
• Ensure repair work on wheelchairs, beds, furniture, and HVAC equipment is completed.
• Manage maintenance staff relations with Administrator oversight.
• Collaborate with Administrator on budget, supplies, and future projects.
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards management, residents, staff, and visitors.
