Job summary

MissionCare is seeking a Maintenance Manager to direct and oversee physical plant maintenance and grounds upkeep at a nursing home. The role covers building improvements, grounds, utilities, and mechanical/electric systems to ensure safe, well-maintained facilities.

The position requires strong supervisory experience, four years in maintenance, HVAC knowledge, and proficient use of MS Office, with a focus on compliance with building codes and regulations.

Qualifications

• Four years' maintenance experience
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, construction, plant maintenance and HVAC
• Proficiency in English
• Knowledge of state and federal building codes
• Supervisory experience in maintenance

Responsibilities

• Manages maintenance staff and ensures facilities are maintained at all times.
• Reviews and maintains preventive maintenance logs.
• Provides training in basic plumbing and electrical per regulations.
• Maintains repairs on equipment and facilities including wheelchairs, beds, appliances, floors, ceilings.
• Manages staff relations with Administrator oversight.
• Manages budget, orders supplies/equipment, plans future projects.
• Maintains a positive and respectful attitude toward residents and staff.
