Job summary

Garden Healthcare in Westerville, OH is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead the ongoing operation of facility equipment and systems.

You will organize repairs, perform preventative maintenance, document drills, troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and maintain logs. The role requires independence and flexibility for extended hours as needed, including weekends.

Experience in nursing home settings and knowledge of Life Safety Code are highly valued; vocational training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational/technical training preferred.
• 2 years of experience in nursing home environment.
• Strong communication skills.

• - Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing issues.

• - Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• - Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, & plumbing repair.
• - General handy man expertise.
• - Knowledge of compressors, generators, & boilers helpful.
• - Knowledge of Life Safety Code & State Nursing home regulations.
• - Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• - Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• - Ability to work independently.

Requirements:
