Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a Nursing Home Personal Injury Attorney to join its Cincinnati, Ohio office. The attorney will handle a heavy and complex caseload spanning pre-litigation, litigation, trial preparation and trial.

The role requires a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active OH State Bar membership, with a minimum of 2+ years in personal injury, especially medical malpractice or nursing home matters, and excellent client service and advocacy skills.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the OH State Bar Association.
• Minimum 2+ years of personal injury experience, preferably in medical malpractice and/or nursing home matters.
• Ability to manage high volume of pre-lit and litigation cases.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of both pre-litigation and litigation cases.
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits.
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings and court appearances.
