Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice & Nursing Home Litigation Attorney to manage meaningful caseloads from intake through trial. You will work with a nationally respected team, supported by ample resources to take on powerful opponents and achieve life-changing results for clients.
You will have autonomy to lead cases over time, with a premier plaintiffs’ firm backing you and a career dedicated to justice.
Qualifications
- J.D. required from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the State Bar.
- 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience, ideally involving medical negligence or nursing home matters.
- Strong litigation, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to independently manage a significant caseload.
- Excellent client communication and relationship-building abilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage a substantial caseload from intake through trial.
- Leverage firm’s technology to manage cases throughout their lifecycle.
- Develop compelling cases through discovery, expert development, depositions, and motions.
- Counsel clients and families with compassion and clarity.
- Collaborate with medical experts and consultants on case strategy.
- Prepare for and attend mediations, hearings, depositions, and trials.
- Support case strategies to maximize outcomes and accountability.
