Job summary

Regency at Canton, part of Ciena Healthcare, is seeking an experienced administrator to lead the facility's operations and drive quality of care and profitability in Canton, Michigan.

You will supervise management staff, hire and evaluate personnel, resolve complaints, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements while promoting the organization's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven leadership ability with at least three (3) years experience as an administrator in either a long term or sub-acute care facility.

Responsibilities

• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizational policies and applicable laws.
• Interviews and hires management staff.
• Prepares performance evaluations for staff.
• Meaningfully rewards and disciplines staff.
• Receives and resolves complaints.
• Disciplines employees up to and including discharge.
• Adequately supervises assigned staff and assures that those staff are supervising employees assigned to them.
• Monitors and corrects job performance of management staff.
• Uses independent judgment and discretion on behalf of the organization in the performance of these duties.
